A project is one workspace with its own data connection, its own subdomain (yourteam.overscore.dev), its own branding, and its own set of people. Dashboards, queries, and analyses live inside it, and there's no limit on how many you make. Most teams need exactly one. Agencies and consultants typically run one project per client, which is what the per-project price is built around.
Editors build: they create dashboards, write and register queries, manage the data connection, and deploy. Viewers look at what's been built and interact with it — filters, date ranges, drill-downs — but can't change or deploy anything. Each project's price includes the owner's editor seat; additional editors are $50/mo on the project they're added to. Viewers are free and unlimited on Pro.
You need to be comfortable running a couple of commands in a terminal — that's the real bar. You build by describing what you want to an AI coding tool (Claude Code or Codex) running on your own machine, and it writes the dashboard. Knowing SQL helps a lot, because you'll review the queries it writes against your data. If that's not you, the Done-for-you option exists for exactly this reason.
In your warehouse, where it already is. You give Overscore a read-only service account, which is encrypted at rest and which you can revoke at any time. We never copy your underlying tables — the only thing stored on our side is the cached result of the specific queries your dashboards run, so they load fast instead of hitting your warehouse on every view.
You do, directly to Google and to whoever provides your AI coding tool. Overscore doesn't resell or mark up either one, and your queries run under your own credentials on your own account. Your Overscore bill is only the per-project and per-editor pricing above. Caching actually reduces your warehouse spend, since a cached dashboard queries once per refresh instead of once per viewer.
Only the people you invite. You can share a dashboard with everyone on the project or scope specific viewers to specific collections, so a client sees their dashboards and nothing else. Viewers sign in with Google — there are no separate accounts to create or passwords to manage. Dashboards can also be published publicly if you want one to be open.
Free projects refresh on a daily schedule, and you can trigger a refresh by hand whenever you want — so "the number is stale" is never more than one click away. Pro projects refresh automatically every 15 minutes, which is the difference between checking a dashboard and trusting it. There's no charge for cached storage on either plan; the one limit is per query, where a cached result is capped at 500,000 rows so a single runaway query can't balloon.
Four things, roughly in the order people care about them. Your dashboards refresh every 15 minutes instead of once a day. You can share with as many viewers as you like instead of one. Your project installs as a real app on a phone or desktop, with your own icon. And you can see who is viewing each dashboard and how often. You can also add editors, at $50/month each. Nothing you have already built changes, and nothing is deleted if you later stop paying.
BigQuery today, plus direct uploads of CSV, JSON, and Parquet files if some of your data isn't in the warehouse yet. More warehouses are on the roadmap, but we'd rather not promise dates we haven't earned.
They stop being served publicly, but nothing is deleted and nothing is held hostage. The dashboard source lives on your own machine the whole time — it's a normal folder of code you built with your AI tool — so you keep everything you made regardless of what happens to your account.
Everyone who joins during the beta pays $99/month per project instead of $199, and keeps that rate for as long as they stay — it isn't an introductory period that quietly expires. We'll close it once we've onboarded enough teams to know the product holds up. Additional editor seats are $50/month at the normal rate.
